Our Story

At Casa Sprezzatura,

(pronounced: spret-zah-too-rah)

We are all about the art of living. We pursue beautiful objects and create beautiful spaces for the love of beauty. And we wish to share this with you!

Sprezzatura (pronounced: spret-zah-too-rah) is a 16th century Italian word, born of the Renaissance, adroitly describing many of our same principles. The word suggests effortlessness and ease — or at least the appearance of such! — and a certain kind of graceful, nonchalance.

Above all, sprezzatura exults improvisation — or at least the freedom to improvise! — and to ensure that nothing is too precious but captures the human spirit and speaks to the soul.

We feel the same about decorating and design, the most timeless interiors are not contrived or forced, but flow and evolve organically through the years.

We believe beautiful objects are timeless pieces that shine no matter the accumulation of wear, tear, dust or years gone by.

Beautifully crafted pieces never lose their intrinsic value. They continuously take on new life and hold new meaning, bestowed upon them by their new owners, inspiring generations to come.

Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.

We believe the appreciation and implementation of beautiful objects and fine craftsmanship elevate any space, and we are here to help you do just that:

To create spaces that feel at once lived in and impervious to the test of time, layering with love and creativity to give soul and breathe life into your home.

We appreciate you visiting our site and hope we can inspire each other to always find and share the beauty in life!
