Alfredo Echazarrete Oil Painting of the Bastille
This oil painting of late evening at the Bastille, titled “Bastille: la Nuit Commence Toujours par le Sol” with its yellows, ochres and greys is a moving depiction of a classic Parisian setting but with its forecful and intense brushstroke, there’s a definite contemporary mood (with or without the phone booth!) The painting is signed on the front and back by the artist.
