This lovely 19th century French trumeau with it’s bucolic scene of two lovers playing music together in a wood has all the charm and folly of 17th century Flemish pastoral scenes. The beautiful details in the painting and mirror frames add to the romanticism of the piece, and make it an ideal addition to any fireplace, entryway or above a commode. The light French grey patina makes the backdrop for the jolly scene.
